Introduction
Geospatial industry is currently going through a transformation process, towards being value-based solution centric industry, wherein several stakeholders (who have traditionally been working as standalone isolated players) are exploring opportunities of integration, convergence and embedment, further leading to evolution of industry workflows and seamless delivery of solutions adding value to geospatial context and content in world economy and society.
At Middle East Geospatial Forum, it is proposed to organize an exclusive Business Leadership Panel on 25th January, which shall attempt to assess business trends, directions and opportunities in the region. The panel discussion will be more of interactive and participative in nature where Geospatial Media will present an Overview of Geospatial Industry's trends and direction in the region followed by a panel discussion which will touch upon the following:
- Industry and Geography wise Business Opportunities and Dynamics
- Geospatial Policies Driving Business Opportunities
- Perspectives of User and Consulting Industries
The programme will be attended by various senior level people from government and private organisations in the region.

The session will start with a presentation by Geospatial Media and Communications, which will present an overview of the global geospatial industry trends and business directions. Subsequently, each speaker will be given 10 minutes of time to either make a power point presentation or give a speech, broadly touching upon the below points.
- Current scenario of the global geospatial industry
- Geospatial policies driving the market from a global perspective
- Future trends and what the geospatial industry can expect in the near future
- What are the challenges and possible solutions for global geospatial industry
