‘Geospatial Enterprise for Smart Governance in the Middle East:Challenges and Prospects’

Geospatial technologies are fast becoming key assets for organisations across the Middle East, with their implementation reaching the enterprise level. The technologies act as enablers for organisations to better harmonise their functioning and thus enable smart governance. This smart governance, in turn, drives overall growth and development of the region. However, the implementation of these technologies at the enterprise level is replete with its share of challenges, which sometimes act as constraint for the implementers. The pre-conference dialogue forum on Geospatial Enterprise for Smart Governance in Middle East: Challenges and Prospects will bring together representatives of major organisations to deliberate upon the implementation of geospatial technologies at the enterprise level, the kind of challenges encountered and the possible solutions to those issues.
